Forza Motorsport 6

GentlemEn, start your engines!

Los Angeles, CA, (Sept 15th 2015) – weareflink created 15 in-game cinematics for Turn 10 studios famous racing game Forza Motorsport 6.

With over 70 hours of gameplay content, 28 race tracks and over 460 cars in its garage, Forza Motorsport 6 boosts an incredible assortment, from cult '80s and '90s performance cars to today's bleeding edge hypercars, V8 Supercars and Can-Am monsters, pre-war open-wheel coffins to 60's and '70s F1 cars and many more. It is undoubtedly one of the finest console racing games out there, setting the bar high when Flink was asked to create the in-game cinematics for the latest installment of the Forza series.

Passionate about racing and cars, our team conceptualized and designed a series of events and environments to showcase top range of accessible cars and introduce the drivers to new tasks and tracks during gameplay.

The in-game cinematics are capturing important moments of motorsport history, featuring poster cars we all dream of and preparing players for Top Gear challenges against the STIG on their way to drive and collect the cars they are passionate about. The challenge was to design a stylized world, partly based on real world tracks and partly on custom-made environments, which would visually harmonize with the actual gameplay graphics while still sporting a distinct look and feel for the complex theme Motorsport. We enthusiastically crafted worlds showcasing different weather and light conditions, on track race situations and showroom scenarios to live up to this massive collection of breathtaking racing cars.

 Porsche Expansion Pack

Following up on our successful collaboration with Turn 10, we conceptualized, designed and produced another set of cinematics for the Porsche expansion pack premiering in Spring 2016. The pack, featuring 21 cars, brought Porsche back into the Forza series after its absence in Forza Motorsport 5.
